2026 LYS Hall of Fame Inductees
Founded on the Seminar’s 10th anniversary, the LYS Hall of Fame honors those who have given 10 years of dedicated service to the Louisiana Youth Seminar. Since LYS is run almost entirely by volunteers, we consider the Hall of Fame to be our highest honor!
In honor of our 3 founders, we typically induct only 1, 2, or 3 people in any one year. Due to the number of dedicated former staff members who were eligible this year, an exception has been made for the first time in over 40 years. We welcome the following four inductees to this year’s Hall of Fame class.
Alex Domingue
A native of Crowley, Louisiana, Alex Domingue attended Crowley High School before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his J.D. from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Alex served on LYS staff from 2015–2018 as a Junior Counselor, Counselor, and Speaking Out Workshop facilitator. Now an associate attorney at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett in New Orleans, Alex continues to support LYS by leading a fundraising initiative that helps Crowley High School students attend seminar each year.
Derrick Graham
Derrick Graham is a New Orleans native and Benjamin Franklin High School graduate who went on to attend Morehouse College and Howard University School of Law. Since first serving as a Junior Counselor in 2018, Derrick has held several LYS roles, including Counselor, Whig Party Chair, Staff Assistant, and Director of Political Parties, and he will return to staff in 2026. Now an attorney following rehab from shoulder surgeries, Derrick has continued giving back by recruiting students from New Orleans and serving on staff.
Christopher Hart
Christopher Hart, originally from New Orleans and now living in Dallas, Texas, attended Zachary High School and first came to LYS as a delegate in 2017. He earned his undergraduate degree from LSU and is currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center while working as a pharmacy technician. Christopher has served LYS as a Junior Counselor, Counselor, Head Table member, and in delegate support roles, and he will return to staff in 2026.
Elizabeth “Lo” Guarisco
Elizabeth “Lo” Guarisco is from Mandeville and attended Saint Scholastica Academy in Covington before going on to the University of Georgia and LSU Medical School. She served LYS as a Junior Counselor beginning in 2010 and later as a Counselor and Staff Assistant through 2014. Now a physician with Ochsner in New Orleans, Lo continues to support LYS through her generosity and by volunteering during seminar.
