LYS would not be possible without the financial support of many individuals and businesses. Generous donations help fund this worthwhile program and open up a world of opportunity to many bright, talented youth throughout Louisiana. Each year, donors make a tax-deductible contributions and sponsor delegates to attend the program.
The Louisiana Youth Seminar (LYS) is a week-long summer leadership camp for high school students from around the country that takes place every year at Louisiana State University. This video features the founder of LYS in addition to numerous students who had the incredible opportunity to attend LYS this past summer due to sponsorships from several Shell sites - including Shell's refinery and chemical plant in Deer Park, Texas.
